Our Story
Sinhala, one of the world's most beautiful and ancient scripts, has long deserved a dedicated space in the digital age. As a team of Sri Lankan developers, linguists, and graphic artists, we noticed a gap: while Unicode support has made Sinhala accessible, finding high-quality, stylish fonts—especially legacy and custom variants—was a challenge. Frustrated by scattered resources and outdated tools, we set out to create a user-friendly hub.
Launched on the shores of Colombo, Sinhala Font Style started as a simple preview tool but quickly evolved into a comprehensive resource. By November 2025, we've curated over 1,000 fonts, integrated live previews, and added features like color customization and image generation. Our journey is fueled by community feedback, and we're committed to expanding with more calligraphy-inspired designs and Unicode-to-legacy converters.
